Alphabase, planetside on alpha centauri 4: houses approximately 750 Imperial fleet and Allied military personnel; an additional 100 civilian diplomats, researchers, and administrators; about 150 full-time resident civilian merchants and as many as 500 total dependents of those personnel and residents who have families.
Alphabase is the hub that oversees Alpha Centauri’s Military command, Operations, engineering, security, Medical, Sciences, Planetary and Outpost defense corps, Militia, and civilian personnel.
The Medical branch of Alphabase consists of 87 total personnel, divided between 31 officers and 56 non-officers. Of the officers, 18 are doctors, medical specialists, residents, nurses, and counseling staff; the remaining 13 serve in redundant backup positions. The non-officers assigned to this branch serve as LPNs, medical corpsmen and paramedics, specialized medical equipment technicians, specialized counseling orderlies, and more. Approximately two-thirds of these non-officers report to the Chief Nurse, while the rest are divided evenly between the Medical Duty Officer and the Counselor.
Tara
Tara (Also known as T.A.R.A.) is rescued and taken into Imperial custody and a hunt begins to find out who she was and what is going on. Imperial Agents become involved who claim to have some idea of what is afoot, but the dogged determination to keep “Classified” information from coming to the surface pushes Tara to find out on her own. The more Tara learns, the more she realizes she may not be one of the good guys after all.
