Pam Harrison is the artist and writer behind House of the Muses (2007-2012) and is counted among some of the first, best known, and most successful CGI artists in Independent Comics. In 2007 Pam took the fledgling Poser comic genre to new heights with the debut of her long-running graphic novel series, House of the Muses: The Latter Days of Sappho of Lesbos, told in first person by one of Sappho’s students, Mnasidika of Sparta, richly interwoven with history and poetry from ancient translations.
Her work with the world-wide acclaimed historical fiction series House of the Muses earned her the 2008 Prism Comics Queer Press Grant for Outstanding Series. The series won numerous reviews and mentions and was favorably reviewed in more than 27 countries in its heyday between 2007-2012. The tenth and final chapter was completed and the collection of ten issues were compiled into two 300 page graphic novel volumes in September 2019. READ MORE
